This matched pair of Soyuz 013 FET-MAC small-diaphragm condensers do everything you'd ever want from a set of pencil microphones. Here, you're getting two high-performances mics, each boasting the warmth and rich life-giving sound of the transformers you'd find inside the classic German models of yesteryear. Besides the pre-fitted cardoid capsules, this two-part dream-team both comes with a further two capsules per mic, so the polar-pattern and response can be changed up at will. Fit the supercardioid capsule to capture multiple instruments set up in one room and enjoy improved separation, or fit the omnidirectional capsule to make hyper-realistic recordings - the holy grail for classical ensembles. And, obviously, this set does just as flawless a job when serving as room mics for the drum kit. In short, you're getting the best of the best, neatly packed up in a deluxe case alongside compatible microphone clips and two PADs.
